About this Work

Dave has created many works of art, using the beautiful words of the poem “Rain” by Maori poet, Hone Tuhware.  This is just one version where the background has an acrylic wash in varying colours and whilst the paint is still wet, he has scored the word “rain” into the background.  The larger word “rain” has been written in a foil which creates a “rainbow” effect which is very spectacular.  There is another artwork which is similar but different!

The work measures 570×380 approx. and is concertina folded to suggest the rain running down the tin roof.
