About this Print

This wonderful message from the Rubaiyat by Omar Khayyam was originally written on vellum (animal skin) in Sumi which is a Japanese ink which won't fade and the illustration is in gouache, illuminated in 23ct gold.  Over the years Dave has created many works of art of this quote with a Persian influence as they are always very elegants works of art.  This is the first time we have offered one of these vellum originals as a print.  The original is available in our Gallery section.
