About this Work

This is a major work of art of Sea Fever by James Masefield.  Over the years Dave has created a number of paper sculptured original artworks of this well known English poem, using the images of old clippers.  This artwork is written on a full sheet in gouache, and Dave has used a feathering technique to suggest the waves, birds flying as well as the title, the embossed sun adds a further subtle effect to this beautiful work of art.  This artwork can be purchased unframed as shown, or we have it presented in an elegant silver frame.
