Paper Sculpture Major Work
Thisi work was commissioned by a client who wanted a matching paper sculpture for the entrance of her new home. Dave was given licence to choose the words and create an artwork which would be in harmony with her existing Japanese style work. He chose the words from a Persian Love Lyric, using scuptured birds and images to convey the message from this beautiful prose. We also have a close-ups of the sculptured images if you are interested in commissioning a work of art using similar images.

This wonderful poem was commissioned by a client who had specific requirements, so Dave worked with him to create a work of art which was stunning as well as incorporating his wishes.

Ephesians
These words from the BIble were commissioned for a first wedding anniversary gift to the client's husband. It was decided to use Vellum as the client requested a border design so Dave gilded the vellum with 23ct gold to give the work a richness and spectacular beauty. The image is unframed, therefore the vellum is slightly folded given it is an inert surface and sometimes bends until until under glass.
