This is a new limited edition of only 26 copies of the ABC Darium which Dave has recently created. It is a wonderful examplar of Dave's creative approach to lettering, design and colour with each page a separate work of art. Several of the pages are hand finished with feathering, a cut letter and gold decoration. It is presented in a black handbound case. At present the original of Alphabetica is also available for purchase - price on request. This amazing book will be collected by lovers of Artist's Books and Dave Wood Collectors. Concertina Book of Chief Seattle's Peace Treaty
The long awaited limited edition of this beautiful original concertina book is now available using Australian timber ends. This is a wonderful samplar of Dave Wood's unique style and versatility of lettering and was one of three handmade books he completed in1990 to gain his Fellowship to the Society of Scribes & Illuminators in London. This book can also be opened out and framed - the approximate size would be1200x55mm. Rain Concertina Book Limited Edition
This exquisite artist book is printed on a translucent paper with the word RAIN printed in varnish and then hand coloured. The book ends are handmade with a delicate white paper and it is presented in a handmade silk Japanese folder. There are 80 copies of this edition and we have around 14 copies now available.
